Our ISO-25 and ISO-C1 polyisocyanurate insulation (rigid foam) are produced as large polyiso bunstock and can therefore be fabricated into virtually any shape or size to fit mechanical components. "Mechanical insulation" encompasses insulation utilized for piping and equipment, as defined by the Construction Specification Institute in their MasterFormat document. The new MasterFormat 2004 classification system provides a more detailed breakdown of mechanical insulation categories than the superceded 1995 version (see right sidebar).
ISO-25 and ISO-C1 polyisocyanurate insulation are is ideally suited for the commercial and industrial applications identified in bold. ISO-25 is particularly suitable as a higher efficiency replacement to cellular glass or fiberglass on chill water applications.
40 42 23.13 Cryogenic Temperature Process Equipment Insulation
40 42 23.16 Low Temperature Process Equipment Insulation
40 42 23.19 Intermediate Temperature Process and Chill Water Equipment Insulation
40 42 23.23 High Temperature Process Equipment Insulation
40 42 23.26 Process Equipment Insulation for Specialty Applications
ISO-C1 polyisocyanurate insulation is a superior choice over alternative products such as cellular glass, perlite, fiberglass, or polyurethane insulation.
