ISO-C1 Bunstock Sizing and Dimensions
ISO-25 and ISO-C1 are produced as bunstock in a continuous manufacturing process (take tour). Isocyanate, polyol, surfactants, flame retardants, and catalyst are pre-staged in tanks sized to provide in excess of 7 hours of continuous operation per run.
Bunstock production equipment can be adjusted to produce variable block dimensions depending on particular customer needs. Bun widths can vary from a trimmed 36” (14 cm) up to a trimmed 60(23cm)”, with our standard sizes set at 48” (19 cm) and 36” (14 cm). Bun lengths can vary from 36” (14 cm) (standard pipe chunks) up to 288” (113 cm), with standard stocked sizes being the 72” (28 cm) and 108” (42 cm) lengths (or multiples thereof). The standard bun heights will vary depending on the product density and bun width with typical trimmed bun heights given in the following table:

Note 1: all dimensions are given in the trimmed size. Add approximately 1.5” (0.6 cm) to 2” (0.8 cm) for actual untrimmed bun height.

This customized sizing capability can yield considerable cost savings by minimizing the need to "cut" to size - - which leads to waste.
Our fabrication shop is capable of cutting sheet stock to any thickness, as thin as 0.125” (0.05 cm) thick, with +/- 0.03125” (0.0123 cm) tolerances, making our cut sheet products ideal for demanding applications.
